There's no place like home --but Kansas is pretty great, too!

Today I'm clicking my ruby red slippers together and heading to Kansas!!

Wish it were that easy, but alas it involves a host of lines, the TSA and cramped seats on an airplane.

I don't care! I'm off to see Amy and Dana! A weekend of girlfriend time and shopping. Can't wait!

My kids are relatively unfazed by my departure. I know that's a good thing. But I'll miss them . . . shouldn't it go both ways?
