Although it's a little earlier in the season than normal for us, we ventured over to
Gentry's Farm today to enjoy a bit of fall. Our weekends between now and Halloween are busy--plus the weather was phenomenal, so we wanted to take advantage. We conquered the corn maze (in record time for us, may I add!), took a hayride, the kids took multiple trips through the hay maze, rode the tire swings, played in the grain bins and of course, picked pumpkins.
We got some good looking (and BIG) pumpkins this year. I also found some pretty white and green ones and a fun looking gourd or two.
Despite telling them multiple times prior to our trip, both kids were bummed that we weren't carving jack-o-lanterns tonight. Although having said that, roasted pumpkin seeds sound awfully good
