No way in, no way out . . .

Over the last two weeks we have had a problem with every normal point of entrance to our house.

2 weeks ago:  The garage door stopped opening.  The motor on our garage door opener went kaput.  Cue call to garage door repair man.

2 days later:  New screen doors attached on back porch on July are not opening.  Neither of them.  Knobs jamming.  Door scraping floor.  Cue call to our contractor who installed them.

Last Thurday:  My less than two year old storm door that was the source of much drama fell off the frame.  Yes, I said it FELL OFF THE FRAME.  Some might think a thick wood storm door with glass insets would need it's frame to be installed with something more sturdy than 6 decorative nails, but apparently not the people who installed MY door.  As we had multiple problems with the company and I pretty much hate everything about them, cue another call to the contractor who graciously will fix almost anything, whether he had anything to do with installing it or not.

I feel like there is something symbolic in having a problem with a door.  But when it is a problem with 4 DOORS . . . .that must really be something.
