I'm a little verklempt. . . .
I was quizzing Matthew for a Social Studies test tonight and one of the terms in the chapter was the Holy Roman Empire.
Being a child of the 80s, I laughed and found myself channeling Linda Richman. "The Holy Roman Empire was neither holy nor Roman nor an empire. Discuss."
