Spring break is in session

We made it to spring break.  Praise God!

And as i write this, we are already about halfway through it.  Boo.

No trip this year.  No grand plans.  Bassam took some time off so we are just trying to enjoy a slower pace.   Sleeping in a bit later.  Going downtown.  And on the less fun side, getting some errands done, like haircuts, doctor appointments, and of course for me, laundry.

Spring break doesn't mean nobody is making dirty clothes, sheets and towels, right?

Unfortunately, the weather isn't ideal this week.  Monday and Tuesday were lovely (Bassam and Matt played 18 today), but they are calling for showers and storms today and tomorrow. Time to find out what's playing at the theater, I suppose.     Last night, we went downtown for the Predators game.   We had a great time (Preds win!) and got to eat dinner on the patio at San Antonio Taco Company.  Nothing beats eating cheap tacos and chips and queso outside!

Today's agenda includes shopping for new shoes and shorts for Matt, so decidedly less fun, but better on a random Wednesday afternoon then trying to cram it in some night after school or God forbid, a Saturday afternoon.

Wish me luck!
