Attended the Mother's Day Tea with Matthew's class today. It's funny that there is no actual tea was served (lemonade and decorate-your-own-cookies), but a neat event just the same. The kids treated us to some songs and some fabulous gifts, including this Mother's Day placemat and a pot of homemade flowers! Love them!
After some fierce weather this morning, the remainder of the day was pretty decent. Then around 3:30 it started kicking up again. This was just about the time that things got real rough in Southern Illinois, Kentucky and Northern Tennessee. Needless to say, baseball was cancelled AGAIN despite the fact that we spent the rest of the night playing the yard with friends.
