Monday reality check

Tammy has returned to the Miami sunshine.  I am left in the gray skies of Nashville---and yes, it is still cold.   The meteorologists are even throwing around the "s" word for tonight. 

Which of course, means we are automatically on high-alert for a snow day, even though it is supposed to be 45 degrees tomorrow. 

Let me say, I love a good snow day as much as the next gal (or at least the next teacher or school-aged kid!), but having a snow day on Valentine's Day would DEVASTATE my children, in particular, the redhead, who toiled over her glitter and sticker covered valentine creations for a full week.   She likes nothing more than a good party at school and cannot wait to give her handmade creations to all her friends (and boyfriends).  

Therefore, a snow day, especially a faux snow day, would be a very bad thing.
