While Matthew was off at Cub Scout camp, Gracie and I went to the Y for swim team practice. Then right after lunch we met up with a gaggle of kindergarten pals at the neighborhood pool. There were 5 of them, but there may have well have been 25 with all the screaming and laughing they were doing. I enjoyed catching up with the mamas, and Gracie was thrilled to see Anna, Evan, Kyle and Will.
Nothing beats a leisurely pool day (except maybe a leisurely beach day!). Although I was slightly amazed at how those 5 kids managed to wipe out not only my large snack supply, but those of the other 2 moms, we had a great time. Looking forward to doing it again soon.
