Paint a pretty picture--or room!

Just out of curiosity, how long to you mull over a home improvement project before actually doing it?  Sometimes it's procrastination. Sometimes it's lack of funds.  Sometimes it's an inability to make decisions.  

Well, I've got painting on the brain.   First in our office, which was the first room we painted after moving in (15 years ago this summer), so it desperately needs in.  Second, my kitchen and family room.  It hasn't been that long for either, which is why it makes it a hard sell for my husband.  But despite being a color-on-the-wall person my whole life, that I'm craving more neutrals in my house.  Not every room.  But maybe those two rooms.   But you know how it goes . . . you paint the walls and then start looking at your couch.   Then the rug.   It can become a domino effect.  

My husband doesn't mind the paint.  He's not nuts about the dominoes.
